Internship and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Placement opportunities at Breede valley Municipality

The Breede Valley municipality invites students and unemployed persons currently residing in the Breede Valley Municipal area to apply for an opportunity to be placed within the Breede valley Municipality for 18-month work experience opportunity.

Programme and Entry requirements

This is an 18-month work experience placement programme in the Breede Valley Municipality, and applicants will be selected on the following:

  1. Criteria: Persons with a TVET N6 qualification that needs 18 months’ work experience for a National Diploma. The programmes will be as follows:
  • WIL - Engineering – Architecture/ Building/ Electrical/ Civil Construction/ Construction Management/ Mechanical/ Quantity Surveying (Ref: ES/EABECC/WINTERN05)
Job Requirements

The Breede Valley Municipality, subject to available workplaces, will try to appoint successful applicants across the Municipal area. Applicants should also be aware that the Municipality have limited space available and cannot accommodate all qualifications but endeavour to assist within the Municipal budget allocated for Work integrated learning.

Scope of Work and Duties

  • Will be determined by the qualification or Work Integrated Learning log sheet, or
  • Will be determined by the department in which an applicant is placed

Stipends will be as follows:

  1. TVET N6 Education Qualification: R 4000.00
